Kindly elaborate upon the services that make your organization stand out from the competition. How does it make a difference in supporting patients recovering from stroke?

With the stroke cases reported and patient care services, such as thrombolysis and diagnostic services, easily accessible. A patient arriving within a certain window of time, immediate and appropriate treatment can be given to him or her without any failure from any department. We established a separate code and team called “CODE FAST” with specific roles and responsibilities for stroke cases arriving in the emergency so that all requirements met as a team and a distinct sense of medical emergency made in order to streamline, strengthen, and track all these services. Making a patient survive a stroke, one of the most prevalent causes of mortality that sometimes goes untreated, made a huge difference. However, we thought that saving a person and his or her family from harm was not only our duty but also a humanitarian act on the part of our entire team of committed professionals. Since time is of the essence in such instances, the fact that one patient recovered can serve as an example for many others of a favorable prognosis and first-rate patient care in our hospital.

What are your thoughts upon innovation as a key factor in supporting patients’ care needs. How the company does incorporates the same in its everyday operations.

It is urgently necessary to come up with something novel that will meet patient needs and reduce the workload on our healthcare professionals because their well-being is also very important. In the modern era when there are so many healthcare facilities available for all sections of society in lndia. At CK Birla, we strive to create an environment where patients feel heard, valued, and understood. From complex surgeries to preventive care, we offer a holistic approach to wellness, always keeping our patients’ emotional well-being at the forefront.

What role does technology in supporting the journey towards attaining care objectives?

Technological advancements have significantly changed healthcare, from anesthetics and antibiotics to magnetic resonance imaging scanners and radiotherapy. These days technologies (new pharmaceuticals and treatments, new equipment, new social media support for healthcare, etc.) will drive innovation. Utilizing technology as a tool to simplify and streamline the delivery of healthcare services is crucial for standing out in this huge era of healthcare. The adoption of EMR, Telemedicine, Coupon systems, and other innovations has not only made it easier for the public to communicate their healthcare needs to healthcare professionals, but it has also provided a wealth of data that the industry can use to predict the future and make informed decisions.

What advice would you like to give to budding entrepreneurs and enthusiasts who desire to venture into Stroke Care?

According around the world, 80 million people have had a stroke, and 14 million people experience strokes annually. The most common cause of mortality and disability is stroke. Every year, deaths and disabilities from strokes account for 116 million years of lost life. This information should be enough to stir the hearts of young medical professionals as well as aspiring enthusiasts and entrepreneurs to take up the cause of reducing the global impact of stroke by enhancing stroke prevention, care, and support.

My advice to them would be: They should practice making difficult decisions and strive to be the greatest because humanity is precious if they want to stand out, be of service, and contribute to society. The best evidence-based approach in stroke care is hampered by a lack of awareness, knowledge, and skills, as well as insufficient post-stroke care, which is necessary to improve outcomes for patients and their families which itself gives a vast area of opportunities for young budding individuals to excel in their carriers and add value to one of the most common cause of death.
